Hello and Welcome!
Annie Kendig, LPCC-S LICDC

Mom of two
Specialties: Trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Substance Abuse
I am a mom of two (a one year old and a three year old) and a licensed mental health counselor. Most days I am balancing work with clients, coloring, recording podcast episodes and putting kids down for naps. I think drinking hot coffee is a luxury and a right of every mother. Becoming a mom has been the hardest thing I have ever had to do mentally and physically. Talking about this transition and helping other moms through this has become a passion of mine.
My specialties are trauma and substance abuse, but I see a number of other types of issues that inflict mothers, like anxiety and depression.

Stephanie Kemme, LPCC-S

Mom of two
Specialties: Couples Counseling, Sports Performance
My name is Stephanie and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and mother to two amazing little humans. As a trained therapist, I was under the assumption that I was fully prepared with the knowledge and skills needed to make the transition into motherhood. Man, was I wrong! Becoming a mother was the hardest transition I’ve experienced both personally and professionally. It has become my goal to help other women and parents plan for the impacts of this transition starting in pregnancy. My treatment approach includes a lot of humility, support and empathy for this incredible journey. My specialties include prenatal and postnatal mental health care for pregnant women and partners; life transitions including parenthood; and mood disorders that coincide with major life changes.

Marika Courtney, LPC

Mom of two
I am a mom of two “almost tween going on adult” daughters. I never felt that biological “want” to be a mom and frankly, kids scare me. Luckily, biology kicked in and didn’t think my daughters were too scary and gross. It has been hard since day one but I wouldn’t have done it any other way because I don’t know any other way! I am an only child myself, so sibling rivalry and drama make me insane.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and my specialties include working with people experiencing transitions in their lives, working with resentments and reservations to initiate change and trauma healing. “This is not what I envisioned for my life” statements get me excited to start a session. My experience as a counselor has been working in community mental health, addiction/rehabilitation, county jail and private practice. I am currently accepting clients and can’t wait to get started!
