Up until this point, my posts have been inspired by my daily experiences, my interactions with family, friends, clients, as well as my inner thoughts. I have enjoyed writing them but feel I need to add more direction.

I recently finished The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. For one whole year, she pursues increasing her happiness by choosing a different theme for each month. Within each theme she chooses activities to tackle, for example, May: Be Serious About Play, and the activities she chose were “find more fun, take time to be silly, go off the path, and start a collection”. I am inspired by her systematic approach and would like to try something similar. She adds links to her resources on her website so that others can copy her process, http://www.happinessprojecttoolbox.com.
So here is my plan, over the next two days, I will create a similar “resolution” type plan for myself, come up with a way to hold myself accountable, and a way to measure it’s impact on my life. I will be ready to “Go Live” with this plan on March 1st. My resolutions are TBD but will be related to increasing happiness, being a better therapist, friend, mother and spouse, getting outside of my comfort zone, and practicing what I preach.
I will be using my Passion Planner for all of my planning(www.passionplanner.com). I loveeee paper planners and I especially love my Passion Planner, I can’t recommend them highly enough. So.. for the next two days, I will not be posting a blog, but will unveil my plan (Acting As If 😉 on Friday, March 1st.
See you on Friday!
