Growth Plan Week 4

Last Friday was the end of the “Teach Me Something” resolution. And so far I’ve learned fluid dynamics, flow through a tube that changes area, how to calculate density, acceleration, mass, and time. And my husband learned the Sun Salutations A and B and basics of trauma therapy. At the end of the week, we decided to continue our “Teach Me Something” conversations on the car ride to visit family every Sunday and my husband actually uttered these words, ” I want to do more yoga with you.” All the angels in heaven are rejoicing hallelujah!

Lets recap the Growth Project so far. Currently, I am:

  • Writing a sentence a day in my 1-Sentence Journal,
  • Reading a book a month and,
  • Having Teach Me Something conversations once a week with my husband

This week begins the spirituality/ meditation/ sleep resolution. My goal for this week is to make these things more conscious. How often do we tune out during the homily at church? How often do we toss and turn all night? How often are we too busy or moving too fast to stop and hit the pause button?

Here are my tasks for this week:

  1. Become more conscious and attentive at church
  2. Research a spiritual guru
  3. Practice sleep hygiene like I preach
  4. Incorporate more meditation time

What do you do for your spirituality? What makes your soul feel fulfilled? What fills you up? What would you gain if you paid more attention in this area of your life?

Happy Monday!

Go in peace ✌🏻️
